The EasyLam is designed to laminate with either .0015" or .003" film. The 27" width capacity
allows you to laminate those items that can't be accommodated in a conventional 25" machine.

We asked teachers and media specialists what they wanted to see in a laminator and that's what they told us. So that's what we designed into the educator.

We started with the Graphic III and Premier III machines that so many schools have learned to know and trust for their laminating quality and trouble-free operation. Then we simplified the controls and created an improved film path to elilminate many of the operator errors common to thermal laminators.
Posters, dry erase charts, flash cards, bulletin board graphics, games, visuals and teaching aids of all kinds represent a tremendous investment, whether they were purchased, or made by teachers. Protecting and enhancing these educational materials with lamination allows them to last for years instead of being replaced every few weeks or months.
The Educator offers the control needed to laminate different types of material using different films with a minimum of operator adjustments.

Features which contribute to the quality and reliability of the Educator include:

Preset lamination pressure and speed. Simplifies operation, eliminates many problems.

Enclosed laminating and pull rollers. Helps avoid annoying jams and wrap-arounds.

Forced air cooling. Allows use of 3 and 5 mil films without warping or rippling.

Fixed-position lamination rollers. Provides uniform roll pressure to allow the highest quality lamination available from a school laminator.

Attached safety shield. You can see what is happening with the clear safety shield in place.

Reverse switch. Essential at times to clear misfeeds or avoid problems.

Adjustable heat control. Allows use of different film thicknesses up to 5 mil.

Variable speed. Operates at any speed up to 10 feet per minute.

Digital LCD temperature display. Makes it easy to set and maintain the correct temperature. The indicator light comes on as the machine warms up, and then goes off as your set temperature is achieved.

Simple controls. Conveniently placed switches provide a compact, reliable control pad.

Slitters. Experts know the value of slitters for laminating a quantity of same-size sheets. The slitters remove the scrap from both sides of each sheet as it goes through the laminator. This greatly reduces trim time, and increases consistency of the product.

Glitch-proof threading. The Premier 4 has built-in threading aids to virtually eliminate any problems that you might encounter in threading.

Forced air cooling. Allows laminating of thicker films without warping, rippling, or distortion.

Ease of cleaning. The upper heat shoe on the Premier 4 swings away in seconds making it far easier to clean the laminating rollers and shoes.
